CLINIPHARM SERVICES, established in 1988, is a Long Beach, California-based consultancy specializing in pharmacy operations, pharmacy risk management, pharmacy- and pharmaceuticals-related litigation, managed care pharmacy practice, and medical writing.  Among its clients are community and specialty pharmacies, hospitals, health systems, managed care organizations, primary and specialty healthcare providers, trade organizations, pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical publishers, medical content creation companies, liability insurance carriers, and attorneys specializing in healthcare law.

CLINIPHARM SERVICES is under the direction of its principal, Jack H. Raber, Pharm.D.  Dr. Raber, a 1975 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy, has been a practicing clinical pharmacist, a hospital pharmacy director, a regional hospital pharmacy administrator, and a consultant in private practice.  He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Southern California and has taught classes in site-specific pharmacy practice, pharmacy risk management, and pharmacy law.  From 1996 to 2002, Dr. Raber served as a member of the Medical Advisory Panel of the Professional Liability Division of the Farmers Insurance Group, lending expertise in matters pertaining to pharmaceutical care, pharmacy practice, and pharmacy risk management.

Dr. Raber is an active member of a number of professional organizations including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Medical Writers Association, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and Southern California Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
