Managed Care Pharmacy Practice

CLINIPHARM SERVICES, through its principal, Jack H. Raber, Pharm.D., has consulted to health insurers, healthcare providers, membership organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry on topics related to managed care pharmacy practice, including drug benefits, primary care provider capitation for the pharmacy benefit, drug formularies, and treatment guidelines.

During his professional career, Dr. Raber has represented the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG), the Unified Medical Group Association (UMGA), The Medical Quality Commission (TMQC), and the American Medical Group Association (AMGA) in matters pertaining to managed care pharmacy practice.  He is a nationally recognized speaker on the topics of shared- and full-risk pharmacy capitation agreements and primary care provider management of the pharmacy benefit, and has been a frequent participant in educational programs and symposia that address the needs and concerns of both capitated health care providers and the pharmaceutical industry.  Dr. Raber is an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP).
